URBANA, Ill. – Training Camp practices reached double digits Thursday as the Illini were back at the Campus Rec Fields for their 10th practice of the season. It was back in shorts and shoulder pads after an intense full-pad session a day ago.
The Illini worked through the usual individual drills and team periods before finishing with an offense vs. defense two-minute drill competition.
The Fighting Illini return to practice Friday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. and Saturday morning at 9 a.m. All practices through Aug. 19 are open to the public and free to attend.
