Freshman Josh Eiker set the fastest time in the Big Ten so far this season, clocking 20.45 to win the 200m on Saturday. Edging out teammate Devin Quinn by 0.04 seconds, Eiker also defeated Derrius Rodgers (Illinois State) who entered the meet ranked 12th in the nation in the event.

Zea led the Illini in distance events at the Redbird Invite, as he was the first on the team to finish the 1500m race, taking fourth overall.
