The Illinois High School Football Coaches Clinic is being held this weekend on the University of Illinois campus. Joining Fighting Illini head coach Lovie Smith as keynote speaker was New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton. 

Payton grew up in Naperville, Ill., and played quarterback at Eastern Illinois University, earning a degree in communication. He was the quarterbacks coach at Illinois in 1996 before beginning his long, successful NFL coaching career the following year.
