Samantha Stratford won three events to pace the Fighting Illini women's swimming and diving team on Friday at Michigan State. The senior from Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, triumphed in the 200 freestyle (1:49.60), 100 freestyle (:50.86) and 500 freestyle (5:02.97). The Illini won the majority of the meet's events but came up short, 162-136, to fall to 1-1 on the season.
