CHAMPAIGN, Ill - Former Fighting Illini golfer Mary Ellen Martin won the 2016 Illinois State Senior Amateur title this week.

The tournament consisted of 54-holes of stroke play at the Champaign Country Club in Champaign, Illinois, from September 13-15.

Martin carded a 78 in the first round, an 80 in the second round, and a 77 in the final round.
