Riley will be making his second appearance in the Olympics after debuting four years ago in the 2012 London Games. In 2012, the former Illini placed 24th overall in the opening round after clocking 13.59 in his preliminary heat.

Since his Olympic debut, Riley has competed at World Championships three times, earning a spot in the 110m hurdle final in 2013. Riley also owns three Jamaican national titles.

Riley, who is originally from St. Thomas, Jamaica, left Illinois as one of the greatest track athletes in program history. The hurdler won four national championships and 12 All-America honors. In 2012, Riley made NCAA history by becoming the first male athlete to win both the 100m dash and 110m hurdles national title in the same season. Riley also tallied 12 Big Ten titles over his four-year career and set school records in five events.

NBC Sports Network will broadcast 330 hours of Olympic coverage of more than 20 sports and will be broadcasted live across NBC's family of networks, as well as streaming live on NBCOlympics.com and on the NBC Sports app.
