Champaign, Ill. - Recent Illinois graduate Charlie Danielson will join rising junior Nick Hardy at the U.S. Open in Oakmont, Pennsylvania this week. The two qualified for the prestigious tournament out of the Springfield, Ohio sectional, Hardy by taking medalist honors and Danielson by topping Tony Finau in a playoff. Hardy will make his second consecutive appearance at the U.S. Open as he tied for 52nd overall after 72-holes last year.

The U.S. Open runs June 13-19 at Oakmont Country Club, with competition beginning on June 16. Rounds will air live on FS1 and on FOX, and can also be streamed online at usopen.com.
