@ILLINIMGOLF WINS NORTHERN INTERCOLLEGIATE BY 27 STROKES
Fighting Illini Men's Golf started off the fall season on a high note on Sunday, taking home the Northern Intercollegiate title with a 27-stroke lead. All six Illini finished among the top-16 competitors, individually, as well. Pudue (+20) and UCLA (+22) joined the Illini among the top three in the tournament.

@ILLINIWGOLF OPENS FALL SEASON TODAY
The Illinois women's golf team is back in action and heads to its debut tournament of the 2015 fall campaign in the Minnesota Invitational. The two-day, three-round event will be hosted by the Golden Gophers for the third-straight year at the Minikahda Club in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Illinois returns to the par 72 venue with a yardage of 6,119 for the third-consecutive year. Action opens on Monday, Sept. 14, with two rounds, followed by the final round on Tuesday, Sept. 15.

Illini Men's Golf Alum, Thomas Pieters, won his second European Tour event on Sunday morning, taking the KLM Open Championship title.

In the latest video update, Director of Facilities Management & Operations for State Farm Center Tom Divan details all the progress during the month of August & early September as the Dec. 2 first game approaches, including the new arena floor, elevators, restrooms and 100-level and floor seating. The University of Illinois State Farm Center renovation is currently in phase four, the most intense phase of the two-year, $169.5 million project.
