For the season-opening Fighting Illini football game on Friday night, Sept. 4, there may be some issues for ticket holders who have a parking pass in a campus lot if they plan to arrive before 5 p.m. Please see the message below from the University of Illinois Parking Department and be on the lookout for an email to see if you may be affected. 

From University of Illinois Parking Department:

The University of Illinois Parking Department has been working closely with the Division of Intercollegiate Athletics on the logistics surrounding the football game against Kent State on Friday, Sept. 4, 2015. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 pm. The Parking Department is working with the DIA to accommodate this exciting event with minimal disruption to our customers. If you are a permit holder in a lot impacted by the events, you will receive detailed information and instructions via email prior to the event. We encourage permit holders to watch the Football Gameday website for upcoming details including game day events and street closures.
