Brendan Quealy of the Rantoul Press wrote a great piece on Fighting Illini super fan Sandy Young, 81, who hasn't missed a practice at Camp Rantoul in 15 years. 

"Oh, I can't wait for the camp to start every year," Young said in the story. "I'm very happy when it starts. It gives me something to do and be interested in and keeps my mind working."

The Illini student-athletes feel the same way about Young. 

"She is an icon," Senior lineman Ted Karras said of Young. "Fifty years from now when I think about Camp Rantoul, I'll think about Sandy Young."
