@IlliniSoftball's Bauch Earns Academic Honors
llinois junior Allie Bauch was named Capital One Academic All-District® this afternoon, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), which recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. To be eligible for this award, a student-athlete must be a varsity starter or key reserve, maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.30, and have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at her current institution.

@IlliniVBall's Birks Set for B1G Foreign Tour
For the first time in conference history, Big Ten volleyball has put together a team that will travel overseas to take part in a foreign tour from June 13-25.The Big Ten has selected one player from each team to represent the conference overseas, and Illini rising senior Jocelynn Birks will take part on behalf of the Orange and Blue.

@IlliniMTrackXC Finishes Among Top Teams
Track & Field News released its final dual meet rankings of the 2015 outdoor track and field season and the Fighting Illini men's track and field team closed out the year ranked fifth, the highest finish ever for the Orange and Blue. Texas A&M ended the year as the polls top-ranked team followed by Cal, Oregon and Texas Tech. Illinois finished the regular season with a perfect record in invitational meets.
