Hi Illini Fans!

It's none other than yours truly, Sunny! Hope everyone has been doing well and staying warm! Speaking of warmth and heat...Huff was on fire this past weekend! Both the men's and women's team garnered a win for the books and can we just reflect on Mary Jane's bar performance once again?! Our team couldn't be more proud of her stellar performance! I practically passed out cause I was cheering so loud and our ever so loyal fans were cheering like crazy! I'm going to have to say that was one of my favorite moments at Huff Hall.

However, after this past weekend against Minnesota our drive for success is even greater and as Gaby would say we are hungry for more. We are excited to get back into the gym and make some improvements for when we face the Hawkeyes this upcoming weekend.

As for outside the gym, we are all adjusting to being back in school and our first load of exams are coming up! Everyone is busy being studious and working hard for those A's. We have also been taking a couple breaks by watching the Bachelor together every Monday night. Can I just say, our team absolutely loves the Bachelor and we all get together to enjoy some romantic drama. Not only is the Bachelor a good break but we love supporting other Illini teams! Some girls have been going to tennis matches, some have been supporting Illini hockey and we've been having a great time at the basketball games as well! The Illini are on fire this season!

Besides all that fun we've been having, we just performed at Jock Jams, our annual student athlete talent show. Jock Jams raised over $9,000 for the three charities, SALSC (Student Athletes Leading Social Change), Camp Kesem and Uplifting Athletes. We had an absolute blast! Our team did the evolution of Miley Cyrus and let me just say... We had some killer moves out there. Unfortunately, we didn't get a win but we definitely had an amazing performance filled with fun and laughter.
