@ILLINIMGOLF WINS WEEKLY CONFERENCE HONORS
Fighting Illini Men's Golfers Charlie Danielson  and Thomas Detry  have been named Big Ten Co-Golfers of the Week, as announced by the league office on Thursday, Nov. 5. The two seniors helped the No. 2-ranked Illini to their fourth title of the fall season, as the team captured the inaugural East Lake Cup trophy on Tuesday, Nov. 3.Â

SWIMMING HEADS TO MIAMI
The Fighting Illini Swimming and Diving Team will travel south to take on Florida International in a two-day meet. Competition will begin on Friday, November 6, at 4 p.m. and conclude on Saturday (Nov. 7) afternoon. The Illini (6-1) will look to improve on their unblemished road record as they travel to take on the undefeated Panthers (5-0).

@ILLINIMTENNIS SET FOR B1G INDOORS
Following a weekend away from action, the Fighting Illini men's tennis team has returned to competition as the squad heads west for the Big Ten Indoor Championships. The event is taking place indoors at Hawkeye Tennis and Recreation Complex in Iowa City, Iowa. Action spans four days beginning on Friday, Nov. 6 and lasting through Monday, Nov. 9, when the singles semi-finals and main draw championship will be played.

Fighting Illini junior defensive lineman Rob Bain  was voted to the Academic All-District 5 first team, the College Sports Information Directors of America announced Thursday.
