@ILLINIMGOLF WINS EAST LAKE CUP
Fighting Illini Men's Golf earned it's fourth tournament title of the fall season on Tuesday, taking home the Inaugural East Lake Cup title. The two-day match play event saw the No. 2-ranked Illini take on both No. 8 USC and No. 17 Georgia at the East Lake Golf Club, live on the Golf Channel. The Illini pulled out a 3.5-1.5 win over Georgia in the final matchup of the day after earning a 4-1-0 victory over USC in the early morning hours.

It is rivalry week for the No. 18 FIghting Illini volleyball team as the Illini travel to Evanston, Ill., to take on Northwestern on Wednesday, before returning home to Huff Hall to host the Wildcats on Saturday. Both matches are slated to start at 7 p.m. CT and can be shown on BTN Plus.

are inviting all girls ages 11-17 with any level of golf experience to sign up for the Fighting Illini Girls Short Game Academies. In their third season of working together, coaches Slone and Coluccio will be instructing two sessions, November 21 and December 20, at the Demirjian Indoor Golf Facility.

Coming off their best finish at Big Ten Championships since 1989, the Fighting Illini made their season debut in the USTFCCCA rankings, slotted at No. 19 in the country. The ranking is the first since September 24, 2013 and is the best mark since Dave Halle and Joe Leuchtmann led the Illini to a seventh-place mark at the end of the 1986 campaign.
