ILLINI CELEBRATE SENIOR NIGHT WITH SWEEP OF HOOSIERS
It was a special night in Huff Hall on Saturday (Nov. 21) as the Fighting Illini volleyball team sent its seniors off in style with a 3-0 sweep (25-23, 25-16, 25-20) of Indiana in their regular-season home finale.

Fighting Illini women's basketball improved to 3-0 on the season Saturday (Nov. 21), with a 94-74 win over UT Martin. Three Illini tallied 20-point games on Saturday, as freshmen Cierra Rice and Alex Wittinger joined sophomore Chatrice White to combine for 67 of Illinois 94 points. White has now put up double-figures in three-straight games, while Rice and Wittinger both earned their first-career 20-point games.

Malik Turner caught 11 passes for 126 yards and a touchdown from Wes Lunt for the Fighting Illini (5-6, 2-5), who outgained the Gophers 432-343 in total yardage and had the ball for more than two-thirds of the second half.

DYLAN LAFOND EARNS ALL-AMERICA HONOR
Dylan Lafond concluded his first season running for Coach Stewart's team by earning All-America. The redshirt-junior completed the 10K race in 30:18.2, finishing 29thoverall. Lafond is the first to earn All-America accolades since Trent Hoerr placed 16th in 2007. Syracuse took home the team title, while Edward Cheserek of Oregion claimed the individual crown.
ALYSSA SCHNEIDER EARNS ALL-AMERICA HONOR AT CHAMPIONSHIPS
Running for her final time for the Orange and Blue, Alyssa Schneider did not disappoint as she posted a 17th place finish with a time of 20:09.4. The top-40 finish netted the fifth-year senior the first All-America honor for Illinois since Angela Bizzarri won the individual national championship in 2009.
