@ILLINIWGOLF HEADED FOR FINAL FALL COMPETITION
KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – Illinois Women's Golf is headed for the final competition of its fall campaign as the Orange and Blue are slated to compete in the Palmetto Intercollegiate hosted by the College of Charleston in Kiawah Island, South Carolina. Action will span three days, starting Sunday, Oct. 25 and lasting through Tuesday, Oct. 27, with 18 holes scheduled for each day from the Turtle Point Golf Course. Full Release

ANN ARBOR, Michigan - Following a weekend away from action, Illinois women's tennis team has returned to competition as the squad headed north for the Michigan-hosted USTA/ ITA Midwest Regional. The event is taking place indoors at UM's Varsity Tennis Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Action spans six days beginning on Thursday, Oct. 22 and lasting through Tuesday, Oct. 27, when the singles main draw championship will be played.

Champaign, Ill. - The Northwestern Wildcats overcame Illinois, on Saturday, Oct. 24, handing the Illini a 2-0 loss on senior night. The Orange and Blue fall to 9-5-3 on the season and 3-4-3 in league play. The Illini outshot Northwestern, 17-12, but that wasn't enough to come out on top.
@ILLINIFOOTBALL FALLS TO WISCONSIN, 24-13
Champaign, Ill. - Wes Lunt threw for 278 yards in the Fighting Illini's 24-13 loss to Wisconsin.
Illinois couldn't put together consistent drives in the game. Freshman running back Ke'Shawn Vaughn ran for 55 yards on 13 carries and scored Illinois' only touchdown of the game.
The Fighting Illini defense continued to wreak havoc in the opponents' backfield - raking up 8.0 TFLs, including two apiece from junior DL Rob Bain and junior LEO Carroll Philllips. The Illini entered the game ranked 13th in the nation in tackles for loss per game. Read more

Clayton Fejedelem had a career-high 19 tackles and Geronimo Alllison nearly had another 100 yard receiving game (8 receptions, 99 yards) as the Fighting Illini fell to Wisconsin, 24-13, Saturday afternoon at Memorial Stadium on the University of Illinois' 105th Homecoming game.
