With today, Oct. 21, 2015, being "Back to the Future Day," the day Doc Brown took Marty McFly to in Back to the Future II, we noticed some interesting parallels to other key dates in Marty's time traveling.
Nov. 12, 1955 – The day of the Enchantment Under the Sea dance and the Hill Valley clock tower lightning strike, the 16th-ranked Fighting Illini football team traveled to Madison and defeated the Badgers, 17-14.
Oct. 26, 1985 – The day Marty McFly and Doc Brown started traveling through time, the Fighting Illini defeated Wisconsin, 38-25, on Homecoming at Memorial Stadium.
Oct. 21, 2015 – "The future" in Back to the Future II. Later this week, the Fighting Illini host Wisconsin for Homecoming this (Saturday, Oct. 24, 2:30 pm CT on BTN).
