Hey Illini fans!

To start off this week's Illini Ink, I would first like to say how excited I am to welcome Becca Cuppy and Haylee Roe to our team! It's crazy to think that Becca will be joining us in a couple months for this upcoming season. We are thrilled to have her as part of our team this year. And Haylee will be joining us next year, I can't believe Haylee's going to be "my freshman"! Wow how time flies... They both will be great additions to the Illini family!

This year has been flying by, Thanksgiving is right around the corner! This month, we have really been focusing on fixing the little details in every routine we do. We are currently competing in our second mini intra-squad and gearing up for our first official intra-squad right before Thanksgiving break! We have been doing routines consistently on bars and beam now and have started to put our floor routines together and clean up our vaults. We are very excited for the fast approaching Orange and Blue Exhibition and season soon after!

With Thanksgiving right around the corner, that also means we have our annual Thanksgiving dinner at Mazza's house! We can't wait for the delicious home-cooked meal that she prepares for us each year.

We are all very excited about Thanksgiving break to be able to go home, visit our relatives, eat lots of turkey and do some Black Friday shopping! After break, we will be gearing up for the Orange and Blue exhibition on December 7th at 2:00 p.m.. Can't wait to see you all there! ☺
