1. Freshman wide receiver Mike Dudek posted the fourth 200-yard receiving game in school history, with exactly 200 yards on a career-high eight receptions (25.0 ypc). He recorded the most receiving yards by an Illini this season and highest output since Steve Hull turned in 224 yards at Indiana (Nov. 9, 2013) last year. Dudek also notched three big plays over 30 yards.

2. Sophomore quarterback Wes Lunt went over 300 yards passing for the second time in an Illinois uniform, finishing 27-of-39 for 332 yards and two touchdowns.

3. Lunt, who entered the day tied for 12th nationally in pass plays of 30-plus yards, added to his total with four big plays, giving him 14 on the season. He hit Dudek for three big plays (30, 47, 47 yards) and Josh Ferguson for one (41 yards).

4. Junior running back Josh Ferguson equaled his career-high with 10 receptions, totaling 79 receiving yards to go along with 60 yards on the ground and a rushing touchdown.

5. Sophomore tight end Tyler White caught a touchdown for his first career reception, a 13-yard grab, for Illinois' first score of the game.

6. Illinois eclipsed 500 yards of total offense for the second time this season, finishing with 515 total yards (450 passing, 65 rushing). It also marked the Illini's second game with 450 or more passing yards.

7. The Illini were 11-of-16 on third down and held a 26-19 edge in first downs over Purdue.

8. UI scored on its opening possession for the fifth straight game. Lunt was 5-of-7 for 59 yards and hit five different receivers on that drive.
