CCI Women's Draws
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Just a month after heading to the first of three fall tournaments, the Illinois women's tennis team is gearing up for the final weekend of fall competitions. Head coach Michelle Dasso will take a team of Illini to compete at the USTA Clay Court Invitational in Orlando, Florida from October 30th through November 2nd while the rest of the team will head to the Schwartz Challenge with Christine Stromberg from Friday through Sunday.
Traveling to Orlando:
Representing Illinois at the USTA Clay Court Invitational will be seniors Melissa Kopinski and Julia Jamieson along with sophomores Louise Kwong and Alexis Casati. Doubles tandems will start featuring Kopinski alongside Jamieson and Kwong teaming with Casati but could change throughout the event according to Dasso.
Invitational Information:
Hosted by Florida State, the USTA Clay Court Invitational will utilize three venues for the event including: Grand Cypress, Isleworth and the Wide World of Sports Complex. Select Thursday matches will be broadcasted live online on ESPN3 in addition to Sunday's final matches.
The women's field will feature 16 teams from across the country. Schools represented include Auburn, Clemson, Columbia, Florida State, Illinois, Miami, North Carolina, Northwestern, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Stetson, Texas Tech, UCF, USF, Virginia Tech and Youngstown State.

Live Coverage by ESPN3:
Two days of the USTA Collegiate Clay Court Invitational - the largest clay court event in college tennis, featuring many of the country's top college teams and players - will be delivered live on ESPN3 and the WatchESPN app this week. Coverage will begin at 8 a.m. ET Thursday, October 30, the first day of play, and 9 a.m. ET Sunday, November 2, featuring the men's and women's singles and doubles finals.
Kevin Corke will host both days' coverage on ESPN3, with USTA Player Development General Manager and ESPN commentator Patrick McEnroe joining him for Sunday's finals. The Invitational, sponsored by Visit Florida and Florida Hospital, is being delivered by ESPN3 for the second consecutive year, and will be accessible on computers, smartphones, tablets, Xbox, Apple TV and Roku devices.

Traveling to West Lafayette:
Set to travel with Christine Stromberg to Purdue are Jerricka Boone, Madie Baillon, Grace Tapak and Jade Hilton. Doubles tandems will be Boone working with Tapak while Baillon will team up with Hilton. Neither tandem has worked together before.
Invitational Information:
The Invitational, hosted by the Boilermakers, is set to take place indoors at the Basham Courts of the Schwartz Tennis Center in West Lafayette, Indiana. Teams that will be represented are Illinois, Louisville, Miami (OH) and Purdue.
Competition is slated to commence at 9:00 a.m. (ET) on Friday with two rounds of doubles action followed by a round of singles. Saturday's contests will begin at 10:00 a.m. (ET) with another pair of doubles rounds in addition to a round of singles competition. Action will conclude on Sunday with a lone round of singles play set to start at 9:00 a.m. (ET).
