Window Decorating Contest Flyer
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. -- The University of Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics will be rewarding local businesses that show their Fighting Illini spirit this football season. Businesses with Illini-themed window displays can submit photos each game week for a chance to win recognition at a football game and a visit from Coach Beckman in the Spring.
How to participate:
1. Businesses should decorate their window by Tuesday morning the week of each home football game.
2. Take a photo of your decorated window and submit it to the Fighting Illini Marketing Department (diamarketing@illinois.edu) by Tuesday at 10 a.m. Make sure to include your business's name, location, and uploaded photo.
3. The Marketing staff will pick the best window display on Friday prior to game day. A new winner will be announced each game week.
Each week the wining business will receive:
Two (2) tickets to the upcoming home football game and a photo of the business's
winning window will be shown on the video board.
GRAND PRIZE
• Starting Monday, November 12, the winning photos from the first six home football games will be posted on the Illinois Football Facebook page and fans will be encouraged to vote and share their favorite for the season. Voting will end Friday, November 16 at noon.
• The business with the most shares and likes will be recognized on the field at the
Illinois-Purdue football game on Saturday, November 17, and also will receive a visit from Illini head coach Tim Beckman in the Spring.
