Purchase tickets for Illini Day at Busch Stadium here

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The St. Louis Cardinals Major League Baseball team will hold “Illini Day at Busch Stadium” on Saturday, Aug. 27, when the Cardinals host the Pittsburgh Pirates for a National League Central Division contest. Illini Day will feature an autograph session with Illinois men’s basketball head coach Bruce Weber, while tickets for the game are available at only $20.

Weber, who will also take the opportunity to speak to those who attend, will be present at the pre-game festivities beginning at 1:20 p.m. CT. Tickets for “Illini Day at Busch Stadium” can be purchased online while proceeds from the event will benefit the Metro St. Louis University of Illinois Alumni Scholarship Fund. Due to national television coverage, the contest will begin at 3:10 p.m. CT.
