| Iowa State's NCAA Qualifier Results
AMES, Iowa - On Saturday, a pair of Illini turned in runner-up finishes at Iowa State's NCAA Qualifier while two other middle distance runners competed at Notre Dame's Alex Wilson Invitational to wrap up the indoor regular season. Senior Tamika Robinson took second in the 60m hurdles (8.24) while junior Ashley Kelly posted a second-place showing in the 400m (53.69).
In the 800m at the Loftus Center, sophomore Stephanie Morgan tallied a sixth-place finish with a time of 2:07.44 while freshman Amanda Duvendack notched a season-best time of 2:11.93 to place 20th.
The NCAA will announce the official championship field on Monday, March 7 by 6 p.m. CT. The NCAA Indoor Championships will be hosted by Texas A&M in College Station from March 11-12. Robinson currently is tied for 12th in the nation in the 60m hurdles after timing a personal-best mark of 8.17 at the Illini Classic. The Chicago, Ill., native is in solid position to earn a second-consecutive trip to nationals since the top-16 marks typically qualify.
