CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - The University of Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics has opened the first five rows of seats on the east and west sides of Memorial Stadium to accommodate additional fans for the Nov. 12 football game against Michigan.

Bleachers in the first five rows are generally covered and are considered obstructed view seats because the football teams' sideline presence causes a viewing obstruction for fans in these locations. There are only 1,500 seats available in these rows.

The Fighting Illini are 6-3 on the season and has this weekend off before the 13th-ranked Wolverines come to town inNo. 12. Illinois is looking for its first sellout of the 2011 season and its 11th sellout since 2007. Capacity at Memorial Stadium for 2011 is 60,670. Tickets can be purchased at the UI Athletic Ticket Office at Assembly Hall, by calling 1-866-ILLINI-1 or online HERE.
