ROMEOVILLE, Ill. -

Illinois junior Samantha Sloan had a final round 76 to finish in a tie for fifth at the 16th annual Phil Kosin Illinois Women’s Open. For the tournament, held at the par-72 Mistwood Golf Club in Romeoville, Ill., Sloan had a 54-hole total of 225, nine-over par and finished eight shots behind medalist Allison Fouch of Indianapolis. Fouch ended the tournament with a one-over par 217 after shooting an even-par 72 in the final round.

Illini junior Nora Lucas shot a final round 78 to conclude the tournament with a three-round tournament total of 233. The third Illini junior to make the cut at the event, Hailey Koschmann, was disqualified in the final round.
