Team Results 
PEORIA, Ill. - The Illinois women's cross country team finished in fourth place at the Bradley Open on Friday. Freshman Meghan Murphy was the top runner for Illinois with a 5K time of 19:01 and also placed 10th overall in a field of 36 runners.
Just behind Murphy was fellow freshman Kelsey Seiler who placed 11th overall with a time of 19:06, as well as junior Maggie Mulchrone finishing in 14th place with a time of 19:15. The Illini compiled a team score of 74.
Indiana State University won the open with a team total of 35. Katie Nowak captured the individual title with a time of 18:03.
The other half of the Illini women's cross country team travelled to University Park, Pa., to compete in the Harry Groves Spiked Shoe Invitational, which also took place on Friday.
Next up for the Orange and Blue is the Illinois Intercollegiate Championships in Normal, Ill., on September 18 at 4:30 p.m. CT.
