CHAMPAIGN, Ill. - Incoming sophomores Marisa Lambropoulos and Annie McCarthy captured the doubles title in the ITA Summer Circuit tournament hosted by Indiana on Tuesday, July 29. While the doubles point proved to be an arch nemesis for the Orange and Blue throughout the regular season, the duo put their hard work over the summer on display with a dominating 8-4 victory over the Western Michigan duo of Emily Dudzik and Yumi Matsuto.

Also in action at the Indiana Tournament, junior-to-be Kristina Minor made her way to the backdraw of the singles final. Earlier in the tournament, Minor partnered with fellow Illini Christine Stromberg in the doubles draw, with the duo advancing to quarterfinals.

Across the country at the ITA Summer Circuit tournament hosted by Cornell University in Ithaca, N.Y., redshirt-sophomore Leigh Finnegan paired up with her sister in the doubles draw with the duo advancing to the finals.
