Champaign, Ill. - The Illinois Online Auction is now operating at fightingillini.com, the official web site of Fighting Illini athletics. The current items available are: a commemorative coin from the 2007 Illinois vs. Missouri State Farm Arch Rivalry football game, a PGA Championship pin flag from Southern Hills golf course autographed by Steve Stricker and Mike Small, and a football experience for the October 6th game vs. Wisconsin in which the winning bidder will be a part of Illinois football like never before.

The Illinois Online Auction is a great opportunity for Illinois fans to further develop their passion and love for Illinois Athletics. The auction will have various items and experiences which fans can bid on and will run through the end of the 2008 spring athletic schedule. Future items up for bid this year will consist of men's and women's basketball experiences, autographed jerseys and other collectibles, Fighting Illini china and much more. The University of Illinois can guarantee the authenticity of every item within the auction. All proceeds from the auction support the University of Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics.

The current auctions for the Illinois-Wisconsin football fan experience, the State Farm Arch Rivalry Coin and the signed PGA Championship flag will run until the week of October 1. Additional items will be posted for auctions throughout the remainder of the school year.
