COLUMBUS, Ohio- The Orange and Blue women's golf team finished in 11th place after carding a three-round total of 977 (329-322-326) at the Lady Buckeye Invitational hosted by The Ohio State University at the par-72 Ohio State University Golf Club Scarlet Course.

The Illini were led by junior Seul Ki Park (T37th), who carded an 84 during play today, following up her 85 and 74 during play on Saturday.

Following Park were fellow juniors Stephanie Mory tied for 44th (83-82-81=246) and Casey Burden tied for 50th (81-86-80=247). Kristin Kallergis (81-81-86=248) ended play tied for 55th and senior captain Meghan Naik (84-85-81=250) ended play tied for 58th. Junior Kristine Cook rounded-out action for the Illini, finishing tied for 66th (85-85-84=254).

Purdue remained the leader Sunday amongst the 14-team field, firing a 54-hole team total of 891 for the tournament crown. Michigan State (911) took home second and Kent State (933) third, respectively.

The Illini can be caught in action next weekend when they travel to Michigan State University for the 2007 Big Ten Championships. The tournament will begin on April 27 and wrap-up on Sunday, April 29 and all results can be found at fightingillini.com following tournament play.
