All University of Illinois students are invited to join Illini Head Football Coach Ron Zook, the coaching staff and the entire team in cheering on the Illinois men's basketball team vs. Michigan State at a watch party on Saturday, March 4 in the Great West Hall of Memorial Stadium. Event admission is free. Food and beverages will be provided, along with door prizes at each timeout. At halftime, Zook will talk about and show video highlights of the 2006 football signing class, which has been touted as one of the best in school history.

"This is a great opportunity for our coaches and players to get out there with the students," Zook said. "The students add so much to the atmosphere at Illinois sporting events, and I have said from the beginning that we are going to get Memorial Stadium going just like it is across the street at the Assembly Hall. We are working to put a team on the field that these students can be proud of."
