Illini Complete Schedule Of Pre-Season Practices

Aug. 26, 2005

Coach Ron Zook, the Fighting Illini football team and staff wrapped up the pre-season portion of its practice schedule this afternoon with a two-hour workout on the practice field east of Memorial Stadium. The squad's next practice, which will be Monday afternoon, will be part of in-season, game-week preparation. Unlike spring and pre-season practices, which are open to the public, in-season practices will be closed to the public.

The team will have a walk-through of game-day activities tomorrow morning and will have Sunday off before beginning preparations in earnest for Rutgers.
