2005 NCAA Men's Gymnastics Championships To Air On ESPN2

CHAMPAIGN, Ill.--If you weren't able to make the trip, the 2005 NCAA Men's Gymnastics Team Championships will be aired Wednesday, April 13 at 4 p.m. CST on ESPN2. Hosted by the United States Military Academy in West Point, NY April 7-9, the action will be called by ESPN's Mike Gleason and former Olympian Bart Connor.

After posting a school record team score of 225.025 to lead the field in the qualifying round, the Illini placed third in the finals with a score of 223.750 behind second-place Ohio State (225.450) and National Champion Oklahoma (225.675).

Tomorrow's broadcast will highlight the Orange and Blue's third-place team finish as well as five Illini gymnasts who placed in the Top-10 on various events to qualify for individual event finals. The broadcast also features the all-around final where Illinois junior Justin Spring won the first of three 2005 All-American accolades, placing fifth in the all-around with a score of 55.250.
