Michigan State eliminates Illinois from Big Ten Tournament

Michigan State pounded out 17 hits and held on to defeat Illinois, 6-5 in an elimination game of the Big Ten Softball Tournament. Down 6-5, Illinois rallied with four runs in the bottom of the sixth, which included Erin Jones' first home run as an Illini.
