Bloomington, Ill.-The Women's Gymnastics team finished fourth in the Illinois State Meet among University of Illinois at Chicago, Northern Illinois University and Illinois State University (195.125-193.875-193.850-193.150). Despite the finish, the Illini took the team floor event with a season high total score 49.150.

Junior Jana Gallagher recorded her season high score on the beam to tie for first with Denise Houden of ISU (9.900). Gallagher also tied University of Illinois at Chicago's Sara Casica for a first place finish on the floor (9.875). Junior Amanda Kaufman won the individual title on the event with a season high score 9.850. Kaufman also won the individual title on the vault tying her season high score 9.800.

The Illini are now 5-11 overall and 1-4 in Big Ten competitions.

Illinois travels to Columbus, Ohio for the Big Ten Championships March 23rd.
