BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Kurt Kittner threw two touchdown passes and Rocky Harvey ran for two more scores, leading Illinois to a 35-14 victory over Indiana on Saturday.

The victory was the first for the Illini in Bloomington since 1995 and ended a five-game streak in which the home team won every game in the series.

Kittner, who leads the Big Ten in yards passing, was limited to just 116 yards - most coming - before the rain started midway through the second quarter.

Instead, Illinois relied on its ground game, piling up a season-high 276 yards rushing, including 106 yards on 23 carries from Antoineo Harris.

Kittner led the Illini (5-1, 2-1 Big Ten) on a 17-play, 71-yard drive, the final yard coming on Casey Davis' touchdown reception with 27 seconds left in the first quarter.

Indiana (1-4, 1-2) responded with an 86-yard drive, but Bryan Robertson's extra-point attempt was blocked.

The Illini took control with a three-touchdown flurry during an 8:02 span, that started when Antwaan Randle El threw an interception at the Indiana 32 late in the third quarter.

Seven plays later, on third-and-18, Kittner threw his second touchdown pass, this one to Walter Young, to make it 14-6.

A 46-yard punt return by Eugene Wilson set up the Illini's next score, a 10-yard run from Harvey, to make it 21-6 with 13:28 left in the game. Harvey's second TD run, from 8 yards out with 7:48 to go, sealed the outcome.

Indiana gained 194 yards rushing one week after rushing for more than 400 yards in a 63-32 victory at Wisconsin.
