John Kyle Davis is in his first season at Illinois in 2020 after arriving with seven years of college football experience at Ole Miss. 

Davis started at Mississippi as an administrative intern in 2013 and 2014 before becoming an offensive intern in 2015. After serving as an offensive graduate assistant for one year in 2016, Davis transitioned to Player Personnel Analyst from 2017-19. 

During Davis’ time in Oxford, Ole Miss made three bowl trips, including the 2013 Music City Bowl, the 2014 Peach Bowl, and the 2016 Sugar Bowl.

Davis graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2013 with a degree in secondary education and teaching. He was a student equipment manager for the football team.
