Education:
Kimbrough graduated from Alabama State University with a bachelor's degree in political science. They earned their MSEd from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

Past Experience:
Before coming to the University of Illinois, Kimbrough was a graduate assistant in SIUE's Kimmel Belonging and Engagement Hub. In this role, they were in charge of planning engaging events for students tied to various history and heritage months throughout the year. They also completed an internship with SIUE's athletic department, where they worked with the compliance and student-athlete development departments.
