Tara Tralewski is in her third season at Illinois and second as head football nutritionist in 2023. She served as a nutrition fellow during the 2021 season, before being promoted to Head Football Nutritionist.

Tralewski oversees all of the nutrition needs for football, providing fueling, performance nutrition education, and counseling services to the student-athletes.

Previously, Tralewski was a nutrition assistant at Oklahoma in 2020, helping the Sooners to a Big 12 title and a College Football Playoff appearance.

Tralewski graduated from the North Central University with a degree in exercise science in 2017. She was a libero and defensive specialist for the North Central volleyball team.

Tralewski was raised in Naperville, Illinois. She is an active member of the Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietitians Association (CPSDA).
