Responsibilities 
VanWart's current role as an Assistant Academic Counselor consists of advising a caseload of students through one-on-one meetings, tracking academic progress, assisting with various events, and completing tasks as needed.

Education:
VanWart graduated from the University of West Florida in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. During this time she competed as a cross country student-athlete for the Argos. After completing her undergraduate degree, VanWart was accepted into the College of Student Affairs Administration master's program at UWF, which she completed in May 2022.

Past Experience:
During VanWart's time at UWF she worked as a graduate assistant in Athletics Development assisting in fundraising and stewarding opportunities. 

As a student-athlete, VanWart was a part of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and served as the president her senior year. 

Personal
VanWart comes to Illinoiis from Pensacola, Fla., where she resided while completing her education at the University of West Florida.
