Education:
Bodin is a graduate of Clark University (located in Worcester, Massachusetts), where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Screen Studies (film).
Job Responsibilities:
Bodin manages in-venue videoboard production for volleyball, men’s and women’s gymnastics, women’s basketball, wrestling, soccer, tennis, track, and softball. This includes creating content, designing the in-game look, and producing the show. She oversaw the inaugural season of the Huff Hall videoboard. Additionally, Bodin leads a group of student interns who serve as the primary video content creators for a number of Olympic sports. Bodin has also taken on video projects centered around diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, including but not limited to National Girls and Women in Sports Day, the Green Bandana Project, Black History Month, and 50 Years of Title IX.Â
She previously served as the primary contact for women’s basketball, baseball, swim and dive, and softball, in addition to assisting with StudentU broadcasts on B1G+.
Past Experience:
Bodin came to Illinois from the University of Northern Colorado, where she served as the assistant director of Bear Vision.
Prior to beginning her career in college athletics, Bodin completed an internship at Florentine Films, where she assisted with the post-production of Ken Burns' Country Music series.
Personal:
Bodin is a native of Vermont.
