Education:
Adams received his Bachelor’s degree in Convergent Media (Video Production) from Morehead State University in 2020.
 

Job Responsibilities:

Adams is the streaming services coordinator for Illinois Athletics and is the primary contact for all live video/streaming needs. He oversees the Big Ten Network Student U program, a Big Ten Network initiative to educate the next generation of athletic broadcast professionals by providing hands on experience to thousands of college students across the Big Ten. These events are streamed live to Big Ten Plus and FightingIllini.com.

Adams also oversees all general streaming duties for Illinois athletics and assists with general video needs as requested.

Past Experience:

Prior to Illinois, Adams served as an athletic production assistant for Morehead State Athletics for three years. During this time, he completed two internships with the Green Bay Booyah (Now the Green Bay Rockers) of the Northwoods Baseball League; one in webcast production and one in sales

Prior to college athletics, Adams held multiple positions in television news that included reporter, writer, editor, director, technical assistant and anchor before becoming an executive producer and host for Morehead State Television.

Adams is a native of Morehead, Kentucky.
