India joined the Irwin Academic Services team as a Learning Specialist after working in the athletic academic advising at DePaul University for three years.  

Steward graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Administration from Ball State University and Master’s Degree in Sport Fitness and Recreation from DePaul University.  She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Curriculum Studies at DePaul.  Her goal is to implement social justice into school curriculums, among many other things.  

While at Ball State, Steward was a student-athlete on the softball team where she earned a MAC title and competed in the NCAA Regional Tournament. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated and Black Lives Matter. Steward has a true passion for education and working with the next generation of youth. Her passion is to emphasize the importance of education while also teaching students to carry themselves with high ethical standards both on and off their fields of play.
