Education:
Hayes earned his bachelor's degree (BSE) in sport management from Bowling Green State in 2022.

Responsibilities:
Serve as day-to-day marketing manager for the soccer, wrestling and baseball teams. Serve as secondary marketing contact for men's basketball. Oversee National Anthem and halftime acts. Manage marketing plans for kids club. Manage Oskee Pet program. Manage Tiny Illini program. Build and schedule weekly email newsletter.

Past Experience:
Hayes was part of the Fan Engagement Team with the Columbus Blue Jackets helping fun the fan zone on game days prior to coming to Champaign. Before the Blue Jackets, was a full time marketing, sales and fan experience intern with the Toledo athletic department. Primary role at Toledo was overseeing the marketing efforts for the Mens and Womens tennis teams. Also served as the secondary marketing contact for baseball and softball. Also assisted with coordination of the kids club and with email and text marketing campaigns. Prior to Toledo served as a marketing and promotions intern with the Bowling Green State athletic department where he assisted with all game day marketing and promotional efforts and assisted in the execution of on and off campus marketing campaigns.

Personal:

Hayes was born and raised in Grayslake, Illinois. He is the son of David and Shannon, and brother of Ryan. He is and avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, Chicago Blackhawks, Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Bucks.
