Chris Zuccaro is in his first season as director of coaches video in 2020. 

Zuccaro joined the Illini from Purdue after working at Bowling Green as the Football Video Coordinator for 10 seasons (2009-2018). While at Bowling Green, he was a four-time MAC Video Coordinator of the Year.

Prior to Bowling Green, Zuccaro served as the Football Video Coordinator at Western Kentucky University from 2007 to 2008. He oversaw the video and technology needs of the football team during its transition from the NCAA Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) to the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS). He also assisted in the video and technology design of the new football operations building and was the 2007 Sun Belt Video Coordinator of the Year

Prior to WKU, Zuccaro attended Ole Miss and worked as a student video assistant with the football program from 1999 until 2003. He then transferred to Southern Miss and served as the Sports Video Intern from 2004-06. While at Southern Miss, he assisted with the day to day operations of the Sports Video Department overseeing the video needs of all men’s and women’s sports; mainly the football program.

A native of Natchez, Mississippi, Zuccaro graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2006 with a degree in Sport Administration. He and his wife, Jamie, have two daughters.
