Cam Skelding is in his second season as an assistant recruiting coordinator at the University of Illinois in 2019. Skelding previously served as a recruiting and operations graduate assistant for the Fighting Illini for two seasons.

Prior to working with the Fighting Illini football team, Skelding worked as an assistant in the community and alumni relations department with the Chicago Bears. 

Skelding graduated with a bachelor's degree in recreation, sport and tourism from the University of Illinois in May 2015. He completed a master's degree in educational policy, organization and leadership from the University of Illinois in May 2017.
