2009-10: Member of the Illinois wrestling team but did not compete during the season.

2008-09: Not a member of the Illinois wrestling team.

2007-08: Went 0-6 on the season, competing at the Missouri Open, against both McKendree and Findlay, and at the Midwest Open.

2006-07: Redshirt season ... Went 3-2 at the UNI Open.

HIGH SCHOOL: Finished second at the state meet his senior year ... Posted an overall record of 39-2 to finish his final season ... Placed fourth at the state meet as a junior.

PERSONAL: Full given name is Matthew John Lee ... Born Nov. 12, 1987 ... Parents are Joon and Paula Lee ... Enrolled in general curriculum ... Biggest thrill in sports is knowing that hard work pays off ... His brother, Stephen, has influenced his athletic career because he has always been there for him no matter what and has pushed him to be his best.
