2024-25

• Broke the program's 50 freestyle (22.68) at the Hawkeye Invitational 
• Won the 200 medley relay (1:38.84) at the Hawkeye Invitational, securing the second-fastest time in program history
• Holds second in fastest 50 butterfly (24.04) from the CSCAA National Invitational Championships
• Ranked seventh in program history in the 100 butterfly (54.80)

• Part of the second-fastest 200 freestyle relay (1:31.05) and 400 freestyle relay (3:21.15) at the Big Ten Championships
• Swam the second-fastest 50 butterfly (24.51) and 100 IM (58.94) at the CSCAA National Invitational Championships

2022-23

• Broke the school record in the 50 butterfly (24.64) at the CSCAA National Invitational Championship
• Part of the school record 200 medley relay team (1:39.75) that was swam at the Big Ten Championships
• Part of the school record 200 freestyle relay team (1:31.02) that was swam at the Hawkeye Invitational
• Swam the school's fourth fastest 100 IM (58.57) at the CSCAA National Invitational Championship
• She's also on the sixth (1:40.95, at Hawkeye Invitational) and tenth fastest (1:41.67, at Nebraska) 200 medley relay teams in school history

2021-22

• Made her Illini debut at Indiana State on 10/15 in the 50 freestyle, placing fourth with a time of 24.23.
• Clocked a season best in the 50 freestyle with a time of 24.14 against Vanderbilt
• Swam a lifetime best time of 56.71 in the 100 butterfly at the Big Ten Championships
• Tied a lifetime best of 23.46 in the 50 freestyle at the Big Ten Championships

High School

• Attended Westside High School
• Was a four-year Varsity letter earner in high school.
• Played Volleyball in high school grades 9-11, earning a Varsity letter as a Sophomore.
• Was a State Champion in the 2019-2020 season.
• Was named to the Metropolitan Conference All-Academic Team for the 2019-2020 season
• Achieved honor roll for all four years of high school.
• Was a member of the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society
• Set school records in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle

• Parents are Emily Ethington and Brian Kuehne
• Has one sister, Auguste
• Mother Emily swam at Northwestern University and father Brian swam at University of Wisconsin- River Falls
• Chose Illinois because she always had a connection to the Big 10 through her family and wanted to challenge herself by competing against top tier Big 10 athletes. She also chose Illinois because of the balance between academics and athletics.
