  • Started all 18 matches on the season, recording her first-career goal and assist along the way.
  • Featured in 1,489 of a possible 1,620 minutes.
  • Ranked fourth during Big Ten play with 79 interceptions...also ranked seventh during conference play with a 56.9 percent success rate in aerial duels.
  • Scored her first-career goal on Aug. 15 vs. Wright State.
  • Tallied the first assist of her career on Oct. 13 vs. UCLA.

Junior - 2023

  • Academic All-Big Ten.
  • Most Improved Player
  • Appeared in a career-high 10 games on the season, all off of the bench.
  • Logged a season-high 59 minutes on Oct. 22 vs. No. 25 Nebraska...also tallied 56 minutes on Oct. 12 vs. No. 12 Wisconsin.

Sophomore - 2022

  • Academic All-B1G
  • Played in three games, all coming off the bench.
  • Recorded a season-high 32 minutes in her collegiate debut vs. Illinois State on Aug. 18.

High School

  • Played soccer for Phil Depauw at Saint Joseph High School.
  • Three-year varsity letter winner with soccer, basketball and track and field.
  • Led SJHS in assists (10) as a senior.
  • Two-time First-Team All-District.
  • All-NIC honoree.
  • All-State honoree.
  • Helped lead SJHS to a 2018 state runner-up finish as well as three-time sectional championships, two-time regional championships and three-time NIC conference championships.
  • Was also a two-time All-NIC honoree in track and field.
  • Three-time Academic All-State.

Personal

  • Daughter of Harry and Terri Hiestand.
  • Has three brothers: Michael, Matthew and Mark.
  • Majoring in Kinesiology.
  • Father Harry, now retired, was a legendary offensive line coach. Coached at Illinois from 1997-04 and also featured stops with the Chicago Bears, Tennessee and Notre Dame.
  • Brother Mark currently plays football for Air Force.
  • Brother Michael played football for Illinois State.
