Education:
Taylor is a two-time graduate of George Washington University earning a bachelor's in athletic training and a master's in exercise physiology. While in undergrad, Taylor was a four-year member of the softball team and was inducted into the George Washington Athletics Hall of Fame.
Job Responsibilities:
Taylor serves as the head women’s basketball athletic trainer and women’s golf athletic trainer.
Past Experience:
Taylor came to Illinois from George Washington University, where she was an assistant athletic trainer with women's basketball, women's rowing, golf, and the cheer/dance teams. Prior to her time at GW, Taylor was an athletic trainer at the Catholic University of America, working with football, women's basketball, softball, and cross country/track.
Certifications:
Taylor is a BOC Certified and Illinois Licensed Athletic Trainer. She holds additional certifications including, ACSM - Clinical Exercise Physiologist, NASM - Corrective Exercise Specialist, and IDN - Certified Integrative Dry Needling Clinician.
She also serves as the chair for the Illinois Athletic Trainers' Association Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility committee.
Personal:
A Severna Park, Maryland native, Taylor currently resides in Champaign with her wife, Hanna and dog, Boh.
