Prep Highlights: Two-time South 7 all-conference. Named team's MVP and Golden Glove award winner her senior season. Member of 1996 Marion team that was conference and regional champions. Recipient of her team's Wildcat Award for spirit in 1995. Senior season batted .389 with 21 runs batted in. Also was MVP and captain for her high school's volleyball team.

Personal: Resident assistant currently at Illini Tower. Served as press secretary for student government. Serves as a student ambassador as well as a Volunteer Illini Recruiter. Member of Chi Omega sorority. Active in Greek Intervarsity Christian Fellowship. Member of LAS Dean's List. Majoring in speech communication and political science.
